Requeriments and Install :
- Installation requires a PSP with 4.01 M33 or higher CFW (Only v1 and v2 motherboard users.)
Offical sony firmwares And PSP3000 and PSP2000 v3 motherboards shouldn't try it.
- Battery 78% loaded,
- Extract the file you have downloaded anywhere on your computer.
- Connect your PSP to your computer using the USB cable.
- Copy the "UPDATE" folder into /PSP/GAME
- Copy the "550.PBP" file into main menu (memory stick first page)
- Exit USB Mode And run the "5.50 GEN-D3" from GAME section..
- Press "X" for Enter
- Select "Flash Install CFW 5.50 GEN-D3" and Press "X". Start install.. please wait.
- When install completed press the "X" button to restart automaticly.. done..
- Look at the version : System settings > System informations > Version : 5.50 GEN-D3
- Now..You got to have backup of your files.. And format memory stick from psp "system sttings > format memory stick..
- Now .. Check all your recovery settings..

Custom Firmware 5.50 Gen D released.
PSP-1000 and PSP-2000 V1 and V2 only
Fixes problems of Gen C hopefully.
+adds ability to play 480x272 AVC videos.
Compatibility with most of games normally protected and refusing to be ran on a Custom Firmware (Full Metal Alchemist, Soul Calibur, etc). Yoshihiro has created a system to run them and he succeed to make this system more stable and it's now compatible with all PSP, unlike the 5.50 GEN-C.5.50 GEN-C:
You need CFW GEN B-2 installed to install (update) to CFW GEN D
Note:you dont have to be on Gen-B2 to update to D i did it from 5.00 m33-6
Play 5.55+ Games without the need to patch
Still does not have MS speed up.

There will be a read me for those who won't read this.
- Once 5.50.PBP and 5.00 PBP and the DC8 folder copied, run the program on the psp. It will take a while.
- Once done, go back to the computer and replace the resurrection.prx from the ms0:/TM/DC8/kd/ with the one supplied in the folder. (you may have copied it to the root of you're memory stick if you copied all the contents of the folder supplied.)
- Adds the ability to play anti custom firmware games like evangelion. (ported from 5.50 D-2)
- Might not play MGS that had worked on 5.50 GEN D-2
- Will play any games that require firmware 5.03
- Use the ChickHen v2 to use this custom firmware enabler
- Helps to avoid restarting ChickHen after accidentally turning the psp off
- It lauches the psp automatically in HEN mode and in CFW when turning on (not 100%)
- Takes away the "reset device" so that users don't turn off their psps.
- Takes away the possibility to access flash0,1,2,3 so that users don't brick there psp by accident. (permanent brick)
- Moves the version.txt file into the memory stick (ms0:/PSP/SYSTEM/)
